Crazy about our Oktoberfest Capsule Collection
On 16 September, the time has come. Munich, MAISON COMMON ́s home town is getting out of control,
partying for two weeks straight. 6 Million people celebrate Bavarian tradition and a cheerful lifestyle, in the middle
of fair and beer tents, right at the Theresienwiese. This fair was originally launched on the occasion of the wedding
of king Ludwig I. He got married to Therese from Sachsen–Hildburghausen on 12 October 1810.

designed a Wiesn–collection, exclusively for our flagship–store at the Bayerischer Hof.

“It is the irresistable combination of ancient tradition and the 21st century. MAISON COMMON customers coming from the other end of the world can get a sense of this spirit in our dresses, as they are already familiar with the happy twist between classic values and eccentricity.”

“As people are very much adorned anyways, I prefer only wearing earrings and a tiny purse.
Personally, I am not a fan of the traditional chokers.

The pieces are a homage to MAISON COMMON ́s homeland. They are very limited and of course made in Bavaria. Every piece is lavishly made and full of passion. Treat them with the typical
MAISON COMMON–treasure–care. The jacket is partly handmade, the buttons were embroidered in Italy. Scarf and apron are handstitched as well. This special collection is a mirror
of MAISON COMMON ́s Happy Luxury. You are looking at tradition, a bit of eccentricity and humor, a lot of color and passion for detail.”

“I think it ́s great! I can only wish for people to wear traditional costume more often. Anyone looks
good in it! Our special collection shows that there is hundreds of possibilities to wear the Dirndl
in an elegant and individual way.”

“Riding the roller coaster together with my children! I like challenging myself testing the craziest
roller coasters. The wilder, the better. I am not afraid to turn the world upside down during the
Oktoberfest.”
